A Peek

It’s been a busy week preparing for some presentations at work, so I haven’t had much time to post here… and now I’m at a LAN party, so I’m not going to spend much time writing — need to get back to fragging.

Anyway, the debut trailer is up for Battlefield: Bad Company 2. What do you think?

  Although it was artistically good, it felt pointless. It didn’t show any game play or what the story would be about. What was the point of that?

  Why not call it a teaser trailer instead of a “debut trailer”?

  I’d have to agree. A nice presentation, but I would have preferred to see gameplay.

  Its what they call an Annoucement Trailer, 99% of the time it features no actual in game footage.

  I do have to say very well done Dice, Gritty and bloody, not what i expected but it was a pleasant surprise, gives a hardcore BF2 fan like myself somthing to lookforward to.

  Still I hope to be seeing another trailer like that, I hope that it pertains to a certain number thats between 2 and 4 and has the word Battlefield infront of it.

  Disappointed as I was expecting a gameplay trailer, not a “hype” trailer. Since one was shown for 1943 I expected the same for BC2. I should have expected as much for a first trailer I guess.

  Because of “Bad Company 1″, i expected a funny trailer.

  But after the first “shock” i have to say that i really like it.
  And i hope to see more about it soon.

  Just a small note:
  I hope that the PC version comes with an Battlerecorder.

  Hi there,

  From my point of view:

  nice work though, but no new information.

  I don’t know what i should expect from it, cause nobody made clear for me where BFBC2 is heading.

  Should it be compared to BC1 or should i compare this to your classic pc games (42,2,2142).
  Don’t get we wrong – i just want to make clear that many people don’t know and so everyone has a different viewpoint, likewise expectations from it.

  Many people do this right know, cause they don’t know
